PROTOTOKOS is a clothing house built around one Greek word — Πρωτότοκος — used by the apostle Paul in Colossians 1:15 to confess Christ as the firstborn over all creation. Not first in time. First in rank. The heir of all things.
Why this name
Most Christian apparel reaches for a verse, a slogan, or a fish. We wanted something heavier. Something that sounds strange in your mouth the first time you say it — proh-TOH-toh-kos — and stays there. A word that demands you read the chapter before you wear the shirt.
What we make
Heavyweight pre-shrunk cotton tees. Sacred art for your wall. Mugs and objects for daily liturgy. Vinyl confessions for your laptop. Each piece carries typography pulled from the Greek New Testament, the Hebrew Tanakh, or the Latin of the church fathers — never as decoration, always as confession.
How we ship
We work with a vetted production network and ship from the United States. Most orders arrive within 5–9 business days. Free US shipping on every order. Returns honored within 30 days on unworn pieces — we'll make it right.
To whom be the glory
Soli Deo Gloria. Coram Deo. Whatever profit this house produces, it produces under that confession.
